Betway sites have the same pleasing design – black text on white background with green trim, along with nice icons and an easy-to-read font. But Betway Canada isn’t just a clone of their Euro site. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised with their commitment to localized content. In Canada, Betway has geared their featured sports towards local audiences.

On the dashboard of their rest-of-Canada site, we easily found hockey, basketball, and baseball markets to wager on. Unfortunately, there weren’t any easy-to-find tabs for other popular sports (like soccer).

Another minor gripe: Betway Ontario’s default odds are decimal. Canadians are most familiar with American (or Vegas-style) odds, so decimals may confuse some visitors. Luckily, you can easily switch over to American odds by clicking on an easily accessible drop-down menu.

On the left sidebar, we found links for popular sports and Betway’s A-Z list. In all, they offer 33 categories, including one for politics.

Betway Canada has done what many other international brands have failed to do: localize their content. This means Ontario bettors won’t have to rummage around to find their preferred hockey/baseball/CFL/etc. market.

How to Download

We don’t know when the Betway mobile app will launch for Ontario players. But when it does, you’ll be able to download it in just a few steps:

Android Users

1. You’ll have to download the app directly from Betway’s website. On the Android download page, there is a QR code you can scan with your phone/tablet.
2. But since this is a third-party download, your phone may prevent it. If this happens, enable “Unknown Sources” in your phone’s security settings.

iOS Users

To display American odds on Betway Ontario, click on the drop-down menu in the header that says “Decimal.” Then, select “American,” and the odds will revert to the plus/minus format most Canadians are familiar with.

Perfect – we can easily compare Betway Ontario’s odds to their competitors. So let’s look at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Colorado Avalanche.

On Betway, the Lightning had -105 odds. Meanwhile, BetVictor had them at -115. And finally, Party Sports was laying -110 odds for Tampa Bay.
