Caesars Entertainment has made the call to residents in Alberta to notify them that pre-registration is now open for the impending launch of the online casino market in the Canadian province.
For those aged 21 and above, pre-registration is now open for Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino, including the full information portal for the respective platforms.
While many international jurisdictions have a gambling entry point at 18 or 19, Caesars is upholding the 21+ age requirement that is enshrined in law in the Wild Rose Country.
This mirrors the approach in other Canadian territories, as well as various states in the USA.
Caesars opens pre-registration for launch of Alberta market
Caesars Entertainment will unveil a full launch of its online casino and sportsbook offerings in Alberta later this year, but as of March 23, 2026, the portal is now open for pre-registration.
Those interested can follow the process at caesars.com/alberta to sign up for notifications and further information to follow.
The gambling and entertainment giant described the update as a crucial marker ahead of what will follow.
"Opening pre‑registration is an important first step that allows players to prepare for launch while we finalize our plans to bring our full trifecta of platforms online in Alberta," said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.
"We welcome the province's continued progress toward a regulated online market and appreciate the Alberta iGaming Corporation's work to support operators through this process," added Hession.
Why pre-register for Caesars in Alberta?
The company has pledged that Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino will deliver a premium iGaming service in Alberta.
The operator has detailed that it will bring: "A wide selection of beloved slot titles, table games and live dealer games designed to deliver approachable, player‑forward gameplay rooted in Caesars' classic casino heritage."
These offerings are said to represent a significant upgrade for the regulated online gambling market in Alberta, backed by Caesars' reputation and standing.
The gambling giant has also committed to providing its extensive responsible gambling tools, with its outreach on this issue dating back to 1989.
Four decades ago, Caesars was a trailblazer for responsible gambling measures and education with the launch of Project 21. Now, the service has been updated and expanded to meet the needs of the contemporary market in 2026.
This responsibility and awareness is conveyed through all of Caesars' digital platforms and the various premium destinations that it operates.
Caesars' commitment to responsible gaming
In March 2024, Caesars Sportsbook was awarded the respected RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council in Ontario, Canada.
This was followed up months later in the same year with the National Council on Problem Gambling's award for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Both accolades reflect the responsibilities of operators to ensure safeguards and player protections are in place and maintained, and Caesars has demonstrated its work in this crucial function.
The Nevada-based casino-entertainment giant is now braced for entry into Alberta, with the pre-registration process open.
In recent days, Caesars Entertainment has also become the first online casino operator to launch Aristocrat Interactive's renowned online slots in the West Virginia market.
Aristocrat titles such as 5 Dragons, Fu Dai Lian Lian Panda, and Super Mouse Grand will be available across Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.
